Our presenter: Allen Lawrance is the Associate Curator of Entomology at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. In this role Allen manages the tropical butterflies within the museum's Judy Istock Butterfly Haven, is Co-Director of the Illinois Butterfly Monitoring Network, and implements the museum's butterfly conservation projects. In addition to working with butterflies, Allen shares his enthusiastic appreciation for all insects from large cicadas to small midges through guest lectures, insect pinning workshops, educational videos, media appearances, and family friendly events. We are so excited to have him for this particular educational!
